About Josh Beser's Run for Pancreatic Cancer
Last summer, my dad, Larry Beser, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. We are fortunate that it was caught early and the treatment is going well. Even so, the road has not been easy and many who fight this disease are not nearly as lucky.
A few weeks ago, I learned about an opportunity to run the NYC Half Marathon in support Let's Win Pancreatic Cancer, which supports patients and their families with information and resources through diagnosis and treatment of pancreatic cancer. This is an invaluable resource for both patients and their families, and this was the perfect opportunity to push myself way past my comfort zone to help a cause that's deeply important to our family and so many others.
If you can, I'm asking for your support. Thank you - and if you're in NYC, come out in Brooklyn or Manhattan on March 17 to cheer us on!
