About Purple Pavement Pounders

My mom was an unbelievable supporter of anything her kids did, especially athletically. She was in the stands at every event, giving her classic “thumbs up” sign. Unfortunately she passed away from pancreatic cancer at the beginning of my senior year in high school. Running in honor of her, my grandma (also pancreatic cancer victim) and all those who have lost loved ones- so that we might find a cure to defeat this horrible disease.
