About Ready Steady Eddy
I will be running the New York City Marathon this November for Let's Win Pancreatic Cancer Foundation.
This will be my fourth marathon (first one in America!) and I'm really excited to be running on behalf of an organization that is so important to me and my family.
Cancer is a disease that has heavily impacted my family over the years. My grandfather passed away from pancreatic cancer in 2005. My father, Andrew, has just finished his fourth chemotherapy, having been treated for various different cancers over the past few years. If it wasn't for the work and funding of great charities, such as the one I am running for, we wouldn't be so lucky to have him around today. The same can be said for both my sister, Henrietta, and my uncle, Rupert, who are also survivors.
I would also like to give a special shout out to Ivy Duneier, a great friend and a pancreatic cancer survivor, for connecting me with such a wonderful charity.
I would love you to consider making a donation to support this cause. All donations go directly to funding research, treatment, providing information and care for those suffering and who may suffer from this terrible disease.
