My name is Maria Marrero, an oncology nurse practitioner. Every year thousands are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Pancreatic cancer affects so many in our communities, families and friends. I am running in support of Lets win Pancreatic Cancer. My goal is to raise funds for this great organization to help aid in research and treatment for those with Pancreatic Cancer.

    My sister in law and her two siblings all died as a result of pancreatic cancer. My nephews and their cousins are all be tested now for the genetic marker for the disease and will participate in a study for early detection and treatment. Even just two years ago, this testing was not availble to my nephews. We are all so grateful for your fundraising to support pancreatic cancer research - it's making a difference! Thank you!
